Join us for a day of exploration and discovery at the "Many Faces of Maryland" community event on June 8! This family-friendly extravaganza is designed to celebrate Southern Maryland's rich history, embrace its diverse cultures, and inspire the future.

Event Highlights
Engaging Hands-On Experiences: Immerse yourself in a world of hands-on activities tailored for children aged 4-16. From foreign language word exploration to historical clothing showcases and unique traditions, there's something for every curious mind.
Cultural Performances: Be captivated by esteemed programs such as Indian Dancing Stories, Debra Mims, and Irish Roots: American Branches. These performances will add a touch of cultural richness to the event, providing a feast for the sense.

Passport to Maryland's History: Embark on a journey through Maryland's history with our exclusive "Passport" experience. Children can mark their visits to various eras, engaging in interactive stations that bring the past to life. Try rolling a hoop, making handicrafts, or exploring unusual historical items.

Historical Pageant: Witness the creativity of our young participants as they present a historical pageant, showcasing their dedication to bringing Maryland's past to the forefront.
Interactive Exploration: At each station, children will have the opportunity to explore customs, try on traditional dress, and engage with artifacts. It's an interactive experience that promises to leave families with enriched knowledge and a deep appreciation for Maryland's dynamic past and future.
